We are resuming Sunday services starting May 24th per Gov. Baker's Phase Re-opening Plan. Due to COVID-19's continued presence we ask all that attend abide by the health and safety guidelines that First Baptist Church of Stoneham has adopted. Please read over them carefully. Thank you.

About

Welcome

We are so glad you're here!

One of our highest priorities at FBC Stoneham is for visitors to feel a strong sense of welcome. For some people, going to a new church can be intimidating, but come just as you are. We invite you to join us for Sunday morning worship.

What to Expect

Here is some information on what to expect at First Baptist, and we encourage you to call or email us if you have any other questions:

Our Core Values

Importance of Worship

The life of every person should be oriented around the worship of God. Personal worship is intended to be a daily activity and mindset. Gathering with others on Sunday morning represents a special opportunity - we find that God works among us in special ways when we praise Him together.

Ministry of Caring

At First Baptist we are focused on caring for one another, through all situations in life. There are many needs that we have an opportunity to meet, and we prioritize making needs known within the church community. Our focus on caring for people and loving our neighbors also extends to those outside the church.

Ministry of Welcome

Jesus welcomed all manner of people during his earthly ministry. At First Baptist we are called by God to provide a place for all people to engage with God and His Word. God's desire is for every person to reach out to Him in obedience, and be transformed by the hope that only comes through Jesus Christ.

What Brings Us Together?

We're people who have experienced God's love, and want to share it with each other and our neighbors.

This love is anchored in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We look to God's Word revealed to us in the Bible, which we hold as the standard for our lives.

We try to live in harmony with each other. To paraphrase a well used Christian maxim: In essentials we are united, in non-essentials we exercise liberty, and in all things we practice charity.
